- Sarah Betts' will indicated that Marrian and her children Jullian, Maria, and Evaline to be "equally divided".
- A valuation of $200.00 was placed on Evaline.
- In the Settlement of Estates of Sarah Betts, it is written that Julian, Mason, Maria, and Evaline would be sold to Elizabeth McClanahan. In this same entry, it is written that, "cash amount of valuation of Mason, Julius, Maria, and Evaline, deserted by will to be sold and taken by Elizabeth McClanahan at valuation of agreement of parties." The valuation of the enslaved people listed alongside her was $2,300.00. In the same entry, it is written that the enslaved people listed above, as well as Venus, were directed to be sold and the proceeds divided between Blanch W. Snyder, Edward McClanahan, James McClanahan Jr., Edward McClanahan, Elizabeth McClanahan, Mary S. Ward, Thomas A. McClanahan, and Elisha B. McClanahan.
