- Additional Information
- Michael Miller's will stipulated that the enslaved persons Harriet, Columbus, Ellen, Jimma, Payton, Charles, Vera, and Archy are to be valued by the court and evenly divided between George and Sallie Miller. Once valued, Charles would choose the master/mistress that he would like to be inherited to.
- In 1847, Michael Miller hired a "negro boy" Charles for the year for $10.00. He hired Charles again in January 1850 for $15.00. This information was found in the settlement of Thomas Micon's estate.
- Thomas Micon
- In the appraisement of the estate of Michael Miller, which can be found in IAS Book 5, a value of $600.00 was placed on Charles.
