- In the settlement of estates of Ruddell, it is recorded that an unnamed enslaved individual was hired out in the year 1858 for $218.00. It is also stated that an unnamed number of enslaved individuals was hired out in 1859 for $256.50.
- In the IAS Book 4, the partition of Cornelius Ruddell's enslaved individuals included Susan, Harrison, Spencer, Gran, Nancy, Jane, Henry Wise, and Lucinda. These individuals had a value of $9,900.00 placed on them.
- In the partition of Cornelius Ruddell's enslaved individuals, Sarah Ruddell receieved a one third share of the enslaved individuals. These individuals included Spencer, Nancy, and Henry Wise. The rest of the enslaved individuals went to Cornelius and Sarah's children.
