In December 1862 to January/February 1863, George labored for 60 days at a pay rate of $16.00 per month. His enslaver, C. R. Campbell, received $32.00 for the work he completed.
In IAS Book 4, the partition of the lands and other property of Edward Watts, George is listed among the enslaved individuals that were bequeathed to Mrs. Carr. A value of $600.00 was placed on George.
